Berlin is a global city of culture, politics, and science with a vibrant history dating back to the 12th century. Here, people of all ages, professions, and religions with different educational levels and from all social strata come together.

Our Masonic lodge "Am Berge der Schönheit" in the Orient of Berlin looks back on a 118 -year tradition.

Here, men work in a community of fraternal solidarity and the values of humanity, freedom, justice, love of peace, and tolerance in the ritual tradition of the guild, the lodge, synonymous with lodge.

On our website, dear visitors, we would like to provide you with

The Royal Art - We are a union of free men.

Our thinking and actions are guided by the values of humanity, freedom, equality, brotherhood, love of peace, and tolerance. Freemasonry is committed to the dignity, freedom, and self-determination of the individual. This is what the essence, traditions, and rituals of work in the lodges are directed towards. We possess a 300-year-old heritage, whose origin lies in medieval guilds. Conversation, guidance, and role modeling are the subjects of Masonic work.

Philosophy of the Lodge

The beauty of the soul is love – this motto guides our Masonic lodge "Am Berge der Schönheit". With it, we connect our behaviors and our mutual interaction in the brotherly chain of our Johannis lodge. In our fraternal discourse, we have created the opportunity to inform ourselves together, to orient ourselves, and to develop our own Masonic personalities and identities.

We accept and discuss all views and opinions in collective reflection and critical self-enlightenment, outside of any political programs in harmony with the value positions of Freemasonry.

We are a brotherhood of free men from all social strata, educational levels, and beliefs.
